The SwimLawn SL-HT-006 Hedge Shears are a fixed-handle trimming tool built for shaping and maintaining garden hedges and shrubs with clean, controlled cuts. The carbon steel Teflon-coated blade and sturdy powder-coated steel handles make this a reliable choice for regular seasonal hedge maintenance.
Carbon Steel Teflon-Coated Blade
The 330mm upper blade is made from 4mm carbon steel with a Teflon coating that reduces friction through foliage and resists rust over time. The lower blade is chrome-plated carbon steel at the same 4mm thickness, providing a matched and durable cutting pair with a 6mm cutting capacity — sufficient for most hedge and shrub trimming tasks.
Powder-Coated Steel Handles
The fixed 345mm handles are constructed from powder-coated steel, providing solid leverage for consistent, even cuts across hedge surfaces. The handle length and fixed geometry give good control during shaping work on flat or angled hedge faces.
PP and TPR Soft Grip
The handle grip is fitted with a PP structure reinforced with 15% glass fibre and a TPR cushion insert that provides a non-slip surface and absorbs vibration during repeated cutting. The ergonomic design keeps hands comfortable through extended trimming sessions.
